Getting Started!

Hi, Im Holly. I am 29 years old and I have alot of weight to loose.I am married with three kids. I work full time and I go to college full time. I have used this as an excuse to not exercise like I should but will not do that any longer. I have purchased a treadmill that takes up most of my living room and I have been using it everyday! I have never done a group thing like this before and am hoping that with support I can reach my goals! I need to get healthy and after both my parents haveing heart problems it frightens me to think I am on the same path. I look forward to this journey and hope that I can stick with it. I am only going to take it one day at a time and work my way into being healthier and happier.

welcome!!!! the group thing really does work you just have to do it a lot!!! Ive learned that if I dont get on everyday I tend to slack!!! So it helps if you can set a time aside for your mfp! Good luck and best of wishes!!0

Hey darlin' I am in the same boat you are. Only one child so far but since he was born I have lost about 75 pounds. I also work six days a week and go to college online as well. Currently I am at about 135 pounds and have only 7 pounds to my goal. Just know that it can be done if you have the will and determination. Good luck!!0

Congratulations, you have done the hardest thing - getting started. I just came across this site last week and it has really helped me by logging all food and exercise you seem to get a better picture of what yuo are actually doing. Keep up the good work.

i just started too but ive been trying the gym lately.. ive found that group classes are really good work outs but fun at the same time.. just a little tip! good luck :]0
