Any ideas?

I'm going to take a deep water aqua size fitness class tonight. It runs an hour. It isn't in the cardio database and I'm at a complete loss on how to calculate calories without a heart monitor and I will never remember my own avg pulse rate throughout....

nor am I sure I'm co-ordinated enough to take my pulse and tread water at the same time lol.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!

    *sigh* nevermind.

Used the search function on the forums and couldn't find an answer, but strangely google pointed me to the forums that had an answer..

Water Aerobics/Calisthenics is in the database.

    *facepalm*

Here is a great website for finding calories burned for activities: http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php
"Aquasize" is not listed, but there is a listing for water aerobics and water calisthenics. Pick which one is closest to your aquasize class. Then, enter your weight and time spent active, and it will give you a rough estimate of calories burned. Good luck.

Keep in mind that there is going to be a big difference in calorie burn for shallow water (i.e. feet touching the ground) aquafit and deep water (essentially water jogging).
