I can't get out of my house. My front door-north facing-is frozen shut.

    My son-in-law used to get up at 3 or 4 am to turn his central air off for 15 minutes to let it rest. Should I turn the heat off for 15 minutes?

    My tongue won't touch anything but my mouth if I ever do get outside.
