I Can Do This

This is all new for me to actually record my daily intake, exercise, and hold myself accountable. I know I can do this. BP is up, Chol. is up, and I want to feel and look beautiful again. Most of all, I want to live many years to come.

Welcome! You can do it! I understand holding yourself accountable. Putting in everything you eat down on paper really helps! I suggest finding out how many calories are in something before you eat it. If it is too many calories and you still want it maybe try a half serving instead. Satisfy your craving but in moderation. Good Luck!0

Accountability is the key, along with assessing the pros/cons of whatever it is you want to eat/drink. Just today at work, somene put out a bag of snack-sized Snickers. I picked one up, saw "80 calories" on the outside of the bag and thought wow--do I really want to do 80 calories extra on the elliptical just so I can eat mediocre chocolate with grainy caramel and low quality peanuts? I went to my desk and had a menthol cough drop instead so I satisfied a couple of senses.
Most of all, be honest with your tracking and patient to boot!0
