So, december 3rd is the first saturday is december this year - which is the day my ju jitsu club usually has their annual christmas dinner. In training, all I'm ever wearing is a Gi (possibly the most unflattering thing a girl can wear). The christmas dinner is the one time of the year everyone from the club dresses up - outside of that when we go out we're all pretty casual people. This year I want to give them a surprise by looking a bit different to what I did last year.
Basically between now and then, my goal is to lose 20lb. Since its just over 10 weeks away I figure its definately possible.
But, i'd like some people to be held accountable to if I'm slacking.
So, what do you say? Anyone else up for losing 20 by december 3rd?!???

Yeahhh, good stuff I figure all christmas dinners tend to be around that time, and thats definately something I'm using to push myself with lol. Glad you're on board0

I've got 20lbs to lose by Dec 15th which is my annual Christmas party for work. I'll definitely be down for some motivation while getting a little support myself.0

Hi thats a great goal! my birthday is the 13th dec and im hoping to have lost at least another 14lbs by then if not more. ive been on MFP for just over 4 weeks and ive lost 11lbs.
There are some great motivational people on here and i know i wouldnt have lost the weight without their support.

Yesterday I weighed in at 205.4 lbs, and I've recorded that as where I'm starting this challenge. Just weighed myself and it said 204.2 lbs. I realise its day to day fluxuation, but I'm gonna record my weight every day at the same time, to keep myself motivated What way are you guys gonna weigh in?? I'l

I do mine every monday. I only started a week and a half ago and my first weigh in lost 2.2kg which I'm still quite happy about. Slightly wary of the coming Monday though as I'm going out for Indian on Friday as a treat for me and my mum but gonna work my butt of to work it off.0

well guys and girls, I'm off to spain for 7 days!! Not sure If I'll be able to check in while I'm gone, but hope you lot keep up the good work And I realllly hope that a week from now, all the swimming Im gonna do on holiday will have paid off and I'll be able to post a nice wee loss of a few pounds

I've been a slacker the past 2 weeks. I've had no changes in my weight or measurements. I've worked out several times but haven't been consistent nor have I've been counting like a good girl. My one small NSV tho is I've started chantix and at 7 hours into my shift at a busy ER in a very urban setting, I have had not one urge to go out and have a smoke. Pretty impressive since I should have a least two by now. But I need to get back on the bandwagon with this weight thing. Keep losing everyone!0

I'll be checking in my weight after being on hols tomorrow. Hopefully the swimming and mountain climbing has helped with the junk foor eating and the alcohol drinking while i was away XD haha.
