Do@5609 Hi, I'm new to MFP. Do most of you use WWW with MFP?

Good morning! Most here on myfitnesspal don’t use WW. WW and calorie counting are different strategies. If you are trying to lose weight either strategy is likely to work well for you. I’m currently a WW member and track there. However I will occasionally double track on myfitnesspal to check in on my macros. In some ways, calorie counting is easier because it’s more straightforward. All foods have a calorie value and I just measure and track. However, because WW assigns a higher point value to foods with higher fat or carb content, it can feel a bit like the app is punishing me for some choices. My goals are not solely weight loss but also blood pressure issues. I find that the zero point foods on WW align nicely with the DASH diet recommended by the American Heart Association. So, WW helps guide me toward choices that support my goals.0
