Netball.... how many calories??

Hey people I am looking to see if anyone knows how many calories you burn in netball roughly??? i looked up sports and i can find all other sports but netball!!!. So does anyone know how many calories you would burn playing indoor netball for 30min i play GA... I come off red and sweaty and always feel like i get a decent workout but never know how many calories to put it as............ Please Help

    I am not sure what netball is.


    Is there a sport with similar amounts of running (or whatever you do in netball) that you could enter in its place? Or maybe Google to see if any other sites have it?

    Approx. 450 calories per match, but I suppose it depends on what position you play, i.e. centre probably more whilst goalkeeper less.

    Thank you for that!!!! it gives me something to work off .... I might put it as 225 calories to be on the safe side

    Based on a 40min competitive match, you burn 1001kJ / 239kcal. I'm a female 32year old [161.5kg/159cm]. Fyi, I play WA but the position you play doesn't form part of the equation - it's generic. I also play outside rather than inside, but again this isn't part of the equation :O)
