Please Help!

I am so confused with this whole calorie thing. It says I can eat 1200 calories plus the calories I burned from exercising which is usually around 300. So its telling me to eat 1500 calories a day. Do I have to eat this many calories? If I only stay at the 1200 calories will I lose weight faster? Thanks to everyone in advance for the help!

There is much debate on this topic. You will probably lose weight faster for a short period of time; but eating the full1500 calories is really what your body needs when you do exercise. 300 calories is easy to add on throughout the day. Side salad, a fwe crackers even a glass of OJ will add on some. It will also help keep your metabolism boosted; which helps aid in digestion and weight loss.
If you go a few days without eating the full amount of calories... no worries but you should try to hit it every day. :flowerforyou:0 -
I think there are going to be days when you are under your target and others when you are going to be over. I think the important thing is to keep exercising and don't go over the 1500. I have exaclty the same amount of daily calories than you and I used them to give me a better idea of portions. I am so glad to say that I've been using myfitness pal for only a week and I've lost 3 pounds already.0
