Protein question

I'm always over my protein limit...is that SO bad? How much is too much? My daily goal is 45 but I ALWAYS go over..

The only time you eat too much protein is if you have so much that you go over your calorie intake for the day causing you to gain weight. Generally, the idea is to consume 1g of protein per lb of lean body mass. Although most people don't know what this is so to make things simple people go with .5g to 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight which is fine as well.
Also it doesn't matter how much protein you have in one sitting. You can have 20g, 50g, or 100g ...as long as you get your minimums for the day.0 -
I think MFP calculates goals light on the protein side. I went in and adjusted my goals to balance out my protein and carbs.

What do you mean balanced it out? How much is the ratio?

No it's not bad. I would manually go in and change your goals. A good number would be 30% carbs, 40% protein and 30% fat. the more protein the better, it fills you up and it's good for you. Once I changed my goals around I wasn't going over the protein limit but even if I was it would be a good thing.0
