Just dropping by to say hi! I’m fairly new and just started the 5:2 method of intermittent fasting. Any weight loss words of encouragement appreciated.

This app confuses me. It seems every food I ad is being applied to the same day. Anybody knows how to end one day and start a new day’s log?0

Yes, top right corner there’s an icon that looks like a book (journal) with a check mark over it. Tapping this will complete this day’s journal. Future untries will go on the next day.

If having fast days helps keep you in a calorie deficit to lose weight, then that's keen. Just make sure you realize there's no real magic in fasting for weight loss. If you find you no longer enjoy fasting, you can still lose weight by staying in a deficit while still eating each day.
Also make sure that on your non-fast days you don't eat so much that, on average, you aren't creating a deficit each week. You just have to eat fewer calories than you oxidize to be in deficit, and that's how you lose fat.0 -
