I'm not sure how they work for running, since I'm just starting C25K, but these songs give me lots of extra energy for my other workouts:

Cee Lo Green- Forget You (the non-radio-appropriate version is even better for getting me fired up)
Ricky Martin- La Vida Loca (please don't judge)
    Arethra Franklin- Respect (a classic!)

Thank you so much whoever suggested Evening Wear by Mindless Self Indulgence. I'm finding a few of their songs to be good for running!

Cannot finish a run without Jorge Quintero's 300 violin orchestra! Seriously, it's that "close your eyes and get in the zone" song for me. Makes me want to go tackle somebody like Ray Lewis and then bang my chest! And I'm a girly girl! : )

I HIGHLY suggest downloading the albums from the artist "Girl Talk". They are free and available for download and make INCREDIBLE running music. Constantly changing everything from rap to classic rock and everything inbetween in a giant long non-stop mix!

I'm prety sure I've posted these before (somewhere . . . ?), but for running I cannot stop while listening to: Joan Jett's cover of "Love is All Around" (it's only about 60 seconds long--perfect for a sprint), Pink's "Humble Neighborhoods" (or, really, most things by her), Paramore (again, most stuff is a good running beat, but especially "Born for This"), and Jay-Z/Rihanna's "Run this Town." Also, the Donnas (who I don't normally like) have a cover of "Dancing with Myself" that actually works really well at the beginning of a run.
