Quick advice please

I’m just getting back into healthier eating and really want to stay in my calorie goals. I’m going out to lunch for my son’s birthday to a Mexican restaurant. What’s a good choice to order?

Maybe fajitas?

When I go for Mexican food, I order fajitas or a fajita bowl and in lieu of tortillas I’ll enjoy some chips and salsa and I’ll get water with lemon or unsweetened iced tea, depending on if I need the caffeine or not.
My orders of the past looked much different. I used to order a mini fried combo platter or a smothered burrito with lots of chips and salsa and of course soda.1 -
Do they have an a la carte menu? You could do 2 tacos or something like that instead of a full dinner plate.2
