Hi guys I forgot to log in last night and write on here I like commenting every day becuase I feel like it holds me accountable. Anyway, I finished Level 2 Day 6 (16 days down all together). I honestly feel great... this DVD has made me feel so much stronger in the past 16 days... and I can't believe it!!!
Liss416 - I'm only doing one level at a time, but what I started doing was adding in some extra circuit training from Exercise TV (I have this on AT&T Uverse) there's a 10 minute body blast thing, and I did that twice back to back after my 30DS the other day - so a total of 50 mins. I just had the extra energy and thought "why not". I didn't get a chance to do it again last night after my 30DS because I was in a rush to go meet up with friends, but I think I'll do it again tonight.
I just want to say that something JUST dawned on me!!!!! ding ding ding... I can't believe when I just typed "I had to rush because I had to go meet up with friends"... that I was talking about doing that AFTER making sure I exercised first. I made sure to rush home and get in my 30DS (and a quick shower... cause I am a mess afterwards lol) before going out to hang with them. I really have made this a priority and am SO proud of myself I haven't missed a day yet... and don't plan on it!!!!0 -
Level 2 day 7 done 17 days done! My one knee is hurting... I'm worried I might have injured it but I'm keeping on going just being careful with it. Hope you all had a great day!0

Faery7, I'm so proud of you!!!! Be careful with the knee... maybe omit the lunges in shred 2 until it feels better... ice it too... Pay attention to form on the lunges... a KAZILLION years ago, I used to exercise like a fiend - almost had a full 6pack of abs (I used to call it my 5 pack...)... but what I didn't realize was that every time I was doing lunges, I would lean over my knee... sure enough I hurt both knees and had to stop exercising... I was still watching what I was eating... but eventually I started to feel sorry for myself (I want to exercise but I can't... I need ice cream, pizza and beer)... and gained the weight back...
I still don't have the dvd from netflix... so I haven't shred for awhile (my on-demand only has shreds 1 & 2, and I'm ready for 3)... You mentioned (I think) that you had on-demand from your cable company... check out the 10lb slimdown extreme series... I've been doing to for about 1-2 weeks - and I love it... I feel challenged, I'm not bored... once I get the netflix shipment, I'll start 3 again...

Liss... Level 3 was actually fun! Liked it a lot more than level 2. I finished day 2 of level 3 today and a total i'd 22 days done my shoulder blades are SO sore today though!!

I am SO proud of you, Faery7!!!! Great job! Still haven't gotten my dvd from netflix... have been doing other things, but I'm dying to try level 3! Do you find that you need to do more exercise than one shred level? That's how I was feeling with level 2... it was a GREAT workout, but I needed more, so I did a kickboxing or some other cardio on demand... Keep up the great work!

Liss - thanks so much today is my last day!! I didn't really do any more than just the30 day shred this time. I wanted to make sure I ddin't burn myself out. I'm going to take this weekend off (it's my bday!!) and then start it again on the 11th. I'm going to try to do the C25K too this time. I think it'll help, adding some more cardio in.0
