I’ve struggled with getting serious about weight loss. Now my BP is rising and now is the time to take action. Today is the beginning for me!

All of weight loss, good nutrition, and regular exercise can help with blood pressure control, in my experience.

I'm not saying you should do all of those things at once right off the bat, because that's overwhelming. Long term, though, they can all make a contribution if you gradually phase them in in a way that's manageable for you.

    Wishing you success!

P.S. My blood pressure was high when I was class 1 obese, but active and eating reasonably nutritiously. It's been solidly in the normal range for 8+ years now, starting about halfway through weight loss for me, maybe down 25 of the 50ish pounds I lost. My nutrition wasn't awful before, but I'm sure it's improved some alongside weight loss. Individuals will vary, though, in which interventions work best.
