Hey everyone, I am a 56 year old male with type 2 Diabetes. I make no excuses. I over ate and didn't make good life choices, so I got diabetes. I am looking to lose 40 pounds and put my diabetes in remission. However, I don't have a lot of friends who understand the struggle not to eat out, avoid processed foods, and exercise like a monkey with his hair on fire. I walk between 2 and 5 hours a day. I could really use your support, because some days I just don't feel it , and I need a nudge.

Welcome!! I’m 55 yo female who “used” to be in decent shape & I was definitely more active. But 38 years of nursing has destroyed my knees & a couple of other autoimmune issues & I had to stop working. & boy did the pounds pack on. But I am determined to take control back & get back into a better place. Always looking for tips, tricks, encouragement & advice! Let’s do this!
