Exercise good for your brain?

According to scientists at the University of South Carolina it's more than good -- it increases brain function, stimulates new brain cell growth, and might even prevent Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Might be a good thing to remember if you're like me and would rather hit the snooze button twenty times than get up and work out in the morning. :)

    Sadly, it's no guarantee. My dad is being declared officially incompetent by a doctor today due to his Alzheimers, and he walked four miles a day minimum for years. It did keep his diabetes under control though.

    I don't know what exercise has done for my brain but I have so much more motivation to do the things I have only ever thought of doing! I've got so much more confidence & energy. Mentally & physically I'm in the best shape of my life :smile:

    Exercise is good for your brain. But so is sleep. You need proper amounts of both.
