Intro and Calling Brain Cancer Patients Like Me to be friends

Options
Friend me if you are working on rehab and weight loss from things like the corticosteroids.

We can encourage each other?
  • Mine is a super rare PXA grade 3 tumor, only about 1000 cases in North America
  • About to start one year of chemo
  • just finished 6 weeks of daily radiation
  • Craniotomy in October
  • 4 months high dose Dexamethasone to reduce seizures from swelling had me gain 70 pounds,
  • working to lose it now by counting calories and exercise (walking and strength bands)

    Hello, and welcome!

I'm not in that case (though I'm a survivor of a very common cancer type, plus the surgery-chemo-radiation for that). I empathize, and admire your determination to fight back.

Sadly, I'm also kind of sub-par on the MFP friend side of things (more of a Community forum gal, I guess), but I wanted to stop by your thread and say "hi" and "best wishes".

I'm cheering for you to succeed!
