    Hey guys, just barely made it to 1lb lost. It's getting to the point my weight loss has slowed down significantly. It didn't help that there were 2 birthdays celebrated Sunday, and I ate out 3x last weekend. and My birthday is this saturday so i've been staring down cupcakes all week. hoping the number sticks, if it goes back up as of tomorrow morning i'll be sad. lol

    That was my problem. I had labor day weekend then some laziness on my part and then a birthday. I'm doing better this week with both food and exercise and it's starting to come back off again. I'm almost back to where I was at my lowest. I'm hoping to be there by the weekend and then do my best to make better choices this weekend.

    You can tell what kind of month it's been by my signature. It says I weighed in at 172 on Sept. 8 and today is the 23rd. But the good news is that I did some measurements this morning and those are coming down nicely. I've lost a total of about 3-4 inches all over since I last did that. My birthday is next week and I'm hoping to see another drop in pounds before then. This will be my lightest birthday in over 10 years. I'm so excited!!!

    Sometimes it is good to reassess your goals. And sometimes we lose weight slower than other times. Glad we’re getting back on track….as you see I didn’t weigh in a few times and the scale really reflected that. I thought I’d be farther along by now, but I’m still happy with my loss :) here is my most recent weigh-in:

    HAPPY FALL!!!!!! I love this time of year! All the delicious apple pies and yummy cookies and apple cider. I plan on working out just a teensy bit more just so I can enjoy a bit of heaven. I am hoping to lose 8 more pounds by my birthday on Oct.17th.

    Just ordered a pedometer and heart rate monitor. I'm joining a 10,000 steps a day Oct. group to help boost my weight loss and I'm hoping to get a better idea of actually how many calories I'm burning during my workouts. Hopefully I'm not too far off with the calculator I've been using. I've been stalled for almost a month partly by my own doing and I really need to get back on track. I keep saying that and so far it's not working but seeing that the scale hasn't moved in a month is depressing me, especially since today is my birthday. I'm in a bummed mood. Tomorrow WILL be better.

    WOW, that's amazing! That's a huge achievement. Did you do anything special as far as with your diet or exercise or were you just really strict?

    I don't think anything differently, although When i started it was July 1st so i had 2 months of "summer" so my calorie burns were about 800 for 6 days a week. Now i'm lucky if I can get in to the gym 4 times a week. Plus I'm not a big sweets person (i love carbs soooo much more) so usually treats aren't a huge temptation so I'm sure it helped.
