Why can’t I post on my newsfeed?

in Getting Started
The usual “Share something…” text box is t there. I even tried redownloading the app and making a new user and it still doesn’t work. What gives?

    If you’re sharing something on your friends feed, it can sometimes be very sensitive e to certain symbols or punctuation, or urls you’re trying to share.

    You can hit “post” on repeat and nothing happens til you correct the syntax (?) of the post.

    Could that be it?

    I’ve been trying trying to figure out how to share something as well I mean I have these different friends on here but other than going to an individual a friend sending a message I can’t figure out how to just post something where it comes up like on a daily feed like I see other people stuff too
