Baby carrots. By the time you eat four or five, you'll be so tired of chewing that you won't want anything else for awhile. No dressing, or only, maybe, some kind of vinegar.
Seriously, though, carrots, cabbage, onions and most of the leafy salad greens can be eaten in volume without much calorie impact, if you don't add high calorie dressings or cheese. Sautéed vegetables with minimal fat (it really doesn't take much in a nonstick skillet) can be delicious and satisfying. Fajitas and stir-fries with lean meats are great. Minimize the tortillas, rice, and watch the sauce's nutritional information to maintain good calorie control.0 -
What is your balance of carbs/fat/protein? I found that when I pumped up the protein and healthy fats, it kept the carb cravings at bay (sweets are my downfall).
Be sure you are eating enough too. What is your height, weight, and calorie allowance?0
