I'm looking for new recipes that are healthy AND my husband will eat... Which is like trying to scale Mt. Rushmore, since my husband is by far the most picky person I've ever met! Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations. Any cookbooks you have that you just love that has recipes that aren't loaded with butter and other junk that will put a wrench in my weight loss efforts. I bought the Biggest Loser cookbook and I have Weight Watchers in 20, but I'm looking for more. I like allrecipes.com, but the nutrition information isn't always available and many of the recipes just wouldn't keep me on target with my MFP goals... Thanks :)

I love the CarbLovers Diet! You can get most of their recipes on their site and don't have to buy the book if all you are looking for is new, tasty recipes. www.carblovers.com The Black Bean Tacos are my favorite. I have them for lunch often. :)

The Hungry Girl books. They contain a lot of recipes and lower calorie swaps that you can use for any recipe really. Making a chicken-chili from it next week, less then 300 calories a serving.

Of the books, 300 under 300 is my fave.
  • i love the Cook Yourself Thin cookbooks....i have both of them and use them almost daily...

its food that is normally very high in calories but they have taken away alot of them and given you alternatives...

one of my favorites are the "cheese fries"...which is roasted butternut pumpkin, tossed in a little olive oil and salt and pepper...then sprinkled with parmasen cheese...soooo good!!!
