Total loss for May: Looks like I gained a half pound. At least I am still in my ideal maintenance range, although I'm still very close to the top of it. I'm right about in the middle of my absolute range, so I guess I'll take that as a win. I am down 8.3 pounds for the year.

My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5β 5β tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.

05/01-185.4-(Trend Weight: 182.3)- This is my birthday month and the best gift I can give myself is the gift of health. Iβll be working on keeping my carbs low enough to keep my diabetes in check. Iβll be working on calories also to assist in much-needed weight loss. I hope to get back into the 170's this round even though my actual goal is always a 4 pound loss per month which would keep me in the low 180's for May. So, I will aim for the 4 lbs and hope for over 5.4 lbs. A foot injury put me on a path of weight gain but things are improving on that front so there are no excuses not to step up my game. I hope that the Northern Michigan weather will cooperate and I will be able to get outside more and get in more activity. If not, I will work on inside physical activity. 05/05-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- My 64th birthday on the 10th! The college graduation ceremony for my oldest daughter Bethany (almost 41 yrs old) was so inspiring. Afterward we had a dinner at her favorite Mexican restaurant in the college town. On the way home I stopped at a casino we passed by to let my (autistic) son have that experience. He really loved it and even though we both lost money during the 5 hours there but he did better than me and lost less. Here are a few pics so you know who we are when I talk about my family.

I've lost just over 22 pounds since April 2023. I'm on the slow but steady path and happy with that. I just want to keep it OFF and "Fast, Feast, Repeat" with Gin Stephens is definitely working without me feeling deprived. Love it!2
