Original MFP starting weight (January 2018): 168.2
January 1, 2024 Weight: 155.4 (10-day average 155.8)
April 27 (Starting Weight for this challenge): 147.4 (10-day average 146.9)
May goal: Get back to lower end of maintenance weight range
Ultimate goal: Stay in maintenance range between (absolutely 140 - 153 and ideally 142-148)
I report scale weight and (ten day average weight), and I post on Saturdays.

Total loss for May: Pretty much unchanged from last week - looks like I gained a half pound. At least I am in my ideal maintenance range, although I'm still very close to the top of it. I'm right about in the middle of my absolute range, so I guess I'll take that as a win. I am down 8.3 pounds for the year.

05/01-185.4-(Trend Weight: 182.3)-
05/05-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- My 64th birthday on the 10th! The college graduation ceremony for my oldest daughter Bethany (almost 41 yrs old) was so inspiring. Afterward we had a dinner at her favorite Mexican restaurant in the college town. On the way home I stopped at a casino we passed by to let my (autistic) son have that experience. He really loved it and even though we both lost money during the 5 hours there but he did better than me and lost less. Here are a few pics so you know who we are when I talk about my family.
05/12-185.4-(Trend Weight: 185.4)- We are driving out to a restaurant on Lake Huron today which is a bit of a drive. The water should be lovely because of our beautiful blue skies today and the Motherβs Day Buffet will be delish. I expect the scale will go up tomorrow but I can handle it. Iβm going to wear sandals that I can remove and walk along the waterβs edge. I have a house full of fresh flowers thanks to the kids. I feel so grateful and appreciated! Happy Motherβs Day everyone!

Rough week at work and stress eating and drinking. Back on it from today.1 -
So far 2024 has been my year. I am down -22.6 lbs and going back to Jan 2023 its -35.9. Lowest weight I've had since probably 2005 maybe. My goal is at least 37.5 more lbs hopefully. Shooting for 5.5 lbs this month. Have a great month everyone.

Total loss for May: It looks like I finally started to lose again - about a pound so far for May. This could all change over the next five or six days because of some plans. Those plans are why I'm posting a day early this week. I am still in my ideal maintenance range, and while I'm moving down, it's still towards the top. I'm almost exactly in the middle of my absolute range, and that's a win. I am down 9.2 pounds for the year.
