To help me start running i've signed up to parkrun. I'll probably be walking it at first but hopefully I'll be running it at some point. Time to put the C25K app to work and walk/jog/run a real 5k without it having to be for a charitable cause.

"Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and we encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience".
Here goes nothing!
