Looking for a good, but inexpensive Calorie Burn Counter

Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced calorie burn counter that actually works? I know about the Body Bugg, but honestly, I just don't want to spend $250+ on one right now, not to mention the fact that it requires a monthly membership... I am doing the Turbo Fire workout plan right now and would like a more accurate view of the calories that I am burning, but I have yet to find a device that has been accurate.

I'm also interested. HRM are so expensive and being a poor college student, I can't afford a gym membership let alone the HRM. :(

    BUMP!
  • I use FitBit, and it is pretty nice. It's $100, but there is no monthly fee and it is a clip you can wear on your belt, pants, bra, etc so it is more discreet than the bodybugg (which I have had as well). I ordered mine from Amazon and though I have been slacking on wearing it lately, it's great when I have it on!
  • Phoebe_n - does the FitBit give you an accurate calorie burn count? Thank you so much for the feed back!
