So I noticed when I put celery into my Pal it tells meI am consuming calories... I thought celery was negative calories. BTW I''m new at this nice to meet you guys.

Welcome! Celery has calories, though supposedly the act of eating it burns more than you take in. I don't think it is true, but I don't really know.0

calories that are listed on labels don't take the digestive calories burned into account.
Celery is no different.
If I eat peanut butter I don't subtract 10 calories from the label because my body uses 10 calories to digest it.

Most of the foods which are reputed to be "negative calorie" are indeed very low calorie, mostly vegetables, so if you have a lot of them in your diet you will be on your way to better food choices anyhow
