On Feb 14 this year, I was feeling like a sad slob. I weighed myself and saw 192 on the scale, which is my second-to-highest record. I finally decided I was going to do this- I reduced daily calories to 1700, and started regularly exercising on an Eliptical machine 45min 3 to 4 times a week. The first 2 weeks were hunger-hell but it got manageable after that. I'm 50M, medium build.

I lost 50 pounds total in about a year, but really needed a mental health break.
I've gained about 10 pounds back. For me only, that's probably about 5 pounds water, etc. And 5 pounds real weight, so I'm ok with it. This may be a long break.

About 30lbs more to reach my goal. The next 7 weeks will be tough with a tonne of travel coming up, 5 separate trips consuming about 26 days. Wish me luck!
