Recipe Import

Hi all! I used to be a regular MFP user but have slacked off over the past few years as COVID, school, new job, and life have crept in. One of the features I really liked when it was free was the recipe import to calculate nutrition facts. Is that still a thing? Trying to decide if the subscription is worth it. Thanks!

Not only does it work, but it works in the free version.

If you are on the website, go to the FOOD section of your account. Then click on the link for Recipes (between My Meals and Settings). There's a box. Put the URL of the recipe you want to use, then go.

The next step is to check all the entries. I almost always have to correct some or all of them.

There's been a bug lately too. If you get done and just click "Save," it won't save. If you click "Save and Log it," it will ask what meal and how many servings and THEN save it. I bet this bug will get fixed, but for now save yourself the trouble of correcting everything twice.

This time STICK TO IT. Don't slack off. Life can creep in for sure, but if you build good habits, you can keep them up.

I was a free member for 8 years and upgraded to premium last year. I absolutely love the wealth of information I receive about my meals. It truly is a deciding factor in what to cook for me and my husband on a weekly basis.

Does anyone know why the recipes I create in the Samsung food app don't work on the import option?
