On Feb 14 this year, I was feeling like a sad slob. I weighed myself and saw 192 on the scale, which is my second-to-highest record. I finally decided I was going to do this- I reduced daily calories to 1700, and started regularly exercising on an Eliptical machine 45min 3 to 4 times a week. The first 2 weeks were hunger-hell but it got manageable after that. I'm 50M, medium build.

My mountainous journey over the past few years. I’m up about 8 pounds so it seems I’m starting another tiny uptick on the graph. I havnt accepted the defeat (logged my new weight gain) as I tend to go up and down a few pounds. The window is open a tad more than I’d like. I’m comfortable with a 5lb jump range. But here’s my mountain!!9 -
Very good work. I think it may be helpful for newbies to see the shape of these graphs so they understand it's never one descending line.5

I just took a week off and will resume my effort to get to 175 Lbs. I am assembling a home gym over the weekend, and I bought a treadmill for when the weather is too hot or when its raining to walk outside.

I lost 50 pounds total in about a year, but really needed a mental health break.
I've gained about 10 pounds back. For me only, that's probably about 5 pounds water, etc. And 5 pounds real weight, so I'm ok with it. This may be a long break.4 -

This is my one year of weight loss progress. Still progressing.

About 30lbs more to reach my goal. The next 7 weeks will be tough with a tonne of travel coming up, 5 separate trips consuming about 26 days. Wish me luck!

I only recorded my losses. I did occasionally have two pound gains.
Starting weight 180 lbs. Current weight 124 lbs.
