I don't understand what goes on...help!!!

Why does it seem like I enjoy hearing me talk more than other people enjoy it? I feel like I sometimes have some very insightful suggestions, but very often only I find it to be the case.

    Haha I know how you feel, brother! Sometimes people are full of good advice, but no one wants to listen. I'll listen to you if you listen to me, how's that? :)

    i think you have to look at it like this: they aren't worthy of your advice unless requested and you feel like providing enlightenment.

    Probably because, more often than not, you seem to understand the essence of your advice better than anyone else can *kitten* it up through their own interpretation of it.

    I, too, enjoy my own commentary. In fact, it's the only one I absolutely admire.

    insightful suggestions without being asked for the advice is like nails on a chalkboard. People are only ready to listen/act when they are ready.

    :happy: It's probably the people you're talking to or that your advice is something they're just not ready to hear. You know how in your heart you're trying to help but they think you're nagging, judging, etc?! Being a good listener I found is better than a whole lot of talking. You learn through listening when the best time to talk comes....

    This happens to me a lot too. I fear that it is because they don't respect my opinion. But generally, I just take a step back and let them see for themselves. Of course, when you turn out to be right, then they are mad at you. Unless, they aren't which means they actually did respect your opinion and just had a momentary lapse in judgment.
