Lost my news feed

Hey all did everyone lose their friends and support groups pages news? I think MFP is playing A fast one on us and I refuse to pay

    Yep. The newsfeeds are gone and apparently not coming back.

    This was announced by MFP back in May. They are progressively implementing it so that by the end of June the new feed will be gone for everyone. I have been here since 2010, and I as seriously shopping around for apps other than this one that may fit my logging better than MFP. I will regret losing all the recipes I have added here, but what kept me here was the new feed and the friends in it. With that gone, it is likely I will be gone as well.

    Yep, they tanked it. No reason. We all liked it so why not get rid of it. Bummer.

    The newsfeed was no longer supported and too expensive to fix. A simple cost accounting exercise.

    Everything else is still there and more may be added.

    The newsfeed was the support system, that's gone. They need to now change the name from "MyFitnessPal" to "loginlogoutafterlogging" because basically, that is all it really is.
