            Hi @scaterers88 welcome to MFP!
Well, it would help if we know what your fitness routine is?!
I do cardio and weights. I go for high protein, carbs next and tend to eat low fat. That’s what works for me.
Your needs will probably be completely different because you are probably not a senior female in maintenance.
If you’re thinking of a “name” diet, forget that nonsense. It all comes down to calories in/calories out. Eat less than you burn for weight loss. For muscle building, more protein is typically helpful. I eat any food that appeals to me- I just eat less of it so I can stay within a daily calorie goal.
You’ll need to provide more info: current weight, sex, height, goal weight, and other goals (muscle building, planning to run a marathon or triathlon, body builder, or simply get “in shape”.)1

I consume a higher protein diet with low carbs and higher fat, and that works for me. Basically protein should be your focus with carbs and fat as mostly energy sources. It's a sliding scale and many different configurations can and do work.0

I recommend massive amounts of carbs to fuel your marathon training0
