I am joining this site as a way to help track my diet and fitness regime. I really need some motivation. I have been trying to lose these 20 lbs for years and I really think its time I do it! I have no more excuses. Any help or inspiration would be welcomed! Good luck to all!

Hi and welcome! I was in kind of same boat, lost a little bit of weight but mostly let it creep on for years. I started this year and joined MFP a few months ago with goal to lose 23 pounds, and now I am more than halfway there! You can add me as a friend0

welcome to MFP. Its a wonderful site for so many reasons and I am sure it will be of great help. Sometimes those 20lbs can be the toughest to loose BUT you have this wonderful site to help you along. Welcome! You have definitely come to the right place. I have struggled with every "diet" that has made the rounds over the past 25 or 30 years. This site breaks it down to simple math and this has been the EASIEST weight that I have ever lost. I am actually the smallest that I have been since getting pregnant with my daughter 23 years ago! I am completely in LOVE with MFP. I hope that you find as much support and success here as I have. Feel free to add me. I do believe that building a network is part of the magic here. Make your journal public. It will help tremendously with your will power if others are going to see your weaknesses..lol. Wow, so many comments already! That's awesome. I think we are all in the same boat relatively speaking. Finding ways to keep good on the promises we make to ourselves when life can get in the way. I really appreciate the support and the stories of what brought people to use this site. Great work on the weight lost so far ladies!0
