sugar cravings

I've recently started myfitness pal and I'm having difficulty with my sugar cravings I eat alot of sugar try not to but its addictive can anyone give me pointers on this situation please!

  • Fruit- at least it is good sugars then.

    When mine get out of control I drink Cinnamon in my tea... I read that Cinnamon helps with sugar cravings... And so far it does help me.
  • Start your day with 1 litre of water, include protein with every meal and snack, then allow yourself two small squares of dark chocolate in the afternoon. Try to drink at least 3 litres of water in the day.

    Water helps. Whenever i get a craving i just drink a lot of water. It hwlps me a lot.

    I find that sugar is just as addicting as alcohol or any other drug for me. Since I joined MFP I've been working hard at eliminating it totally from my diet. The first days were horrible but I think it gets easier. I think if you get rid of it all together the cravings get fewer and fewer until you don't want it at all.
