Depression Anxiety and Weight loss

Hello,
I've been suffering from depression and anxiety for 15 years. In this critical time, I have gained 10 kg, which I want to reduce. But my depression leads me to be so lazy. I won't go to the gym now, as I have a deep depression. How can I reduce weight now?

Are you being treated for your depression?
Exercise really helps me with my mood. So does good solid nutrition, hydration and sleep. Eliminating alcohol and recreational drugs (if you use them) will help a lot too.
Food choices can greatly affect how I feel. There's a lot of info online.
In the end, weight loss is about food. Eat less and you'll lose. Do some exercise and you'll also lose weight more easily plus feel better. It doesn't have to be in the gym - I love outdoor walking.1 -
I agree with the above. Make yourself eat more nutritious foods and make yourself go to the gym, or whatever exercise you have wnjoyed in the past. There have been days I had to make myself go to the gym and do something. Usually ince I was there, I could get through it. It will help your mood. Just make it a habit.0

What if your first goal was just to get accustomed to weighing, measuring, and logging your food? Then from there you can start working on bringing the calories down.2

I find that there are parts of the gym that I love and it becomes a treat. My gym for example does a really nice avocado and eggs in the gym.
I make a plan to go and do the things I love, steam, sauna and then eggs - but I make a point of swimming first, so I do however many laps is right.
Is there something about the gym you can attach a positive to in the same way, do you enjoy actually lifting heavy weights, cardio machines, classes, can you swim?
See if you can find a positive to link your motivation to. Or find something else, is there a nice walk in your area, do you enjoy hiking or trail walking.

See your Dr if you haven't already. I also suffer from severe anxiety which flips easily to depression if I let it take over my life. What has worked for me is Citalopram. Ask your Dr about it. It saved my life.
As far as working out and eating healthy, you just have to force yourself to start again. Take a walk outside. Put some earbuds in and listen to your music as you walk. and like others said, healthier eating helps you feel better. Stay away from the junk/fast food!
Hey, at least you started by posting here for encouragement and advice. You can do it!

Please talk to your doctor. It could be caused by a medical issue. I was shocked to find out my anxiety and depression was actually a result of having sleep apnea. Now that I've started treatment for it my anxiety and depression are a LOT better. Plus it's making it a little easier to lose weight.
That may not be what's causing your anxiety and depression. But there are so many reasons. It's best to at least check with a doctor. Good luck!0
