Hi There ~ I have been loving this site for over 2 months now! My loss started off really slow!!!! Now all of a sudden my hard work is paying off and I am lossing!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just had a big loss that put me over 10 pounds lost total. I was asked if I want to recalculate my calories?????
Should I do that or just stay where I am??? I am at 1350 per day. I work out 5-6 times a week 60 mins or longer. I was eating my 3-6 hundred exercise calories...but lately I have been eating about 1/2 or them and lossing.
Thanks for your advise Happy Friday:bigsmile:

I would let it recal. Your total cals will not go down too much or you can wait until you lose more weight. Really at this point doesn't matter.0

Keep in mind that if you have changed your goals at all.....it may shift them back to the defaults after you recalculate.
It did this to me and I had to go back and change them all back. This may be fixed by now though
Congrats on your success so far!0 -
I just had the same thing happen...I did not recalculate at this point (didn't know what to do!? LOL) I don't feel like I"m ready to eat lesssss!!!! I think I will keep up my same until progress slows/stops.
Here's what I'm doing: I eat 1200 calories (base) and exercise twice a day most days and eat back most or all of my earned calories. Lots of water. I think the elliptical (my 2nd workout) is making me lose the pounds and the 30day shred is making me lose the inches...maybe?)
Can't wait to hear more people chime in on this topic.0 -
it not only recalculates cals allowed, but those burnt in exercise if you do not input them manually with a heart monitor. You will burn less doing the same class/ exercise routine when you weigh less, as your heart will not have to work as hard.
I would let it change them and then manually adjust your settings for cal allowance should you need to. Then you will not be eating back calories you have not neccesarily burnt off.
Good Luck, you are doing really well, keep it up!0 -
