The steps don't sync on occassional days

Hi there.
I'm a little confused. I'm not doing anything drastically different each day.
Some days, my steps just won't sync and recently, it's been getting worse.
I can't see where the problem might be. On a normal good day, I'll press the sync button on my Pixel watch which usually uses Fitbit. Then I'll restart the MFP app on my phone, sometimes I need to do this 2-3 times before the step counter updates. Sometimes it won't - but if I go back an hour or two later, it's all been updated.
Yesterday and Tues, Wed last week, my steps didn't update at all and the day history is at zero.
Can support or anyone suggest a few things, please? I'm seeing people have similar problems and am starting to think using MFP premium was a mistake.
Do I really need to re install everytime it won't sync? it's not a great solution is it?

Thanks for replying, Ill contact support once I've tried a few more things. Currently doing a factory reset on my Pixel Watch 2, will see it that helps.0
