How to modify meals?

Hello! I am new to myFitnesspal and am wondering if you need to add a meal from a restaurant, but want to make modifications to it that will lessen the calorie count, (ie: no bacon, no cheese) how do you do that? Or do you just add items individually? TIA!

I have private food entries for Food 4g which is 100 calories and 4g of protein, and Food 1g which is 100 calories and 1g of protein. If I have an estimate for an infrequently used item or meal, I just use those and enter 7.5 of Food 4g or whatever if it's 750 calories, for example. I only track calories and protein btw.0

Mostly estimate using the ingredients. Sometime if it is too complicated, I skip recording the calories/nutrients, but make sure that I write down in english what I wrote and what I did to make it healthy. That still keeps me accountable for healthy eating.0

On the desktop version of MFP you can enter negative servings, so for "no bacon",
enter -1 servings of "cooked bacon" (i dont know how much was usually on your selection).
It takes a little experimenting, but its possible.0
