I am Darsh and I will do this challenge. My starting weight was 269. My current weight is 212.
I will set my goal at Onderland 199 for Christmas.
In order to reach my goal and keep me focused I am signed up to do a triathlon this weekend. I am starting P90x with my neighbor on October 12, after I relax on the beach for a few days. I am doing a 5k on November 12, a 10K on December 17 and a Half Marathon on Feb 26 2012. I might throw in a resolution run 5k on Jan 1.

Wow, seeing it broken down like that makes me think I can do this for real and not ruin it by pigging out on Christmas treats. I'm gonna treat myself to a good tough workout today to keep these endorphins flowing. :-) and then a cleanse to start on Monday to really jumpstart this.
I'm so excited! I wish I could gather you all up for a hug and then a group kickboxibg session. Anyone live in Alberta? :-)0 -

You can do this, girl! Think of it as a Christmas present to yourself. Your goal is ten pounds in just under three months. That is a reasonable and healthy weight loss rate. Think of the energy after a workout, the empowerment of choosing a healthy breakfast, and when all else fails, the sheer vanity in being able to buy a new pretty something to wear for the holidays because your clothes are too loose. :-D0 -
