Would You Wear a Bikini Even If Overweight?

I like wearing bikinis. They feel more comfortable to me than a one-piece suit, and I don't think about if or if not people are judging me. I used to weigh 200 pounds and wore a bikini, now I'm 184 and continue to wear a bikini - always, always with an underwire top because I have a large chest. Anybody with me? Do you think overweight women should stay clear of bikinis, or embrace them if they like them?
I have always had a bikini regardless of weight. Is is very uncommon in Sweden to wear a swimsuit unless you are practicing to crawl in a pool, so that would draw more attention on a beach than any overweight in a bikini.0 -

Definitely. I saw a YouTube video of a woman doing Crossfit who is close to 100 and she has a rockin' body. But even if I didn't have a "rockin' body" I'd be wearing bikinis till the day I die! I feel so matronly in a one-piece, not to mention that they never seem to fit me well.1 -
Personally, I don't wear one. I am about 40 lbs over my ideal weight. I think that I definitely look better in a one piece than a bikini. I guess it depends what you are aiming for. If you feel more comfortable in a bikini, then fine, wear one. I am not going to tell anyone else what they should wear. However, if you want to look your best, I think it is absolutely true that different outfits are more flattering for different body types. This is true for swimsuits just like it is true for business clothes. Most overweight people will not look their best in a bikini.1

ive read all your comments and seen some surprisingly positive people(not used to positivity <-- ) my body as of right now, yea I would wear one, my mother is plus sized...(beautiful woman btw) she wears one piece and still look good, shes around 200 so not that large, but if we're talking about out in public...I wouldn't recommend it. society is getting crueler, even if you are skinny, you are just going to get catcalled or SH(ifykyk ), and if you plus plus-sized, your just going to get laughed at or judging eyes...i used to be a little overweight. 194 actually...from stress eating and whenever we went swimming I would ask my mom for a different swimsuit because of the way I felt people judging me. people say "Ignore the haters" but when it feels like 99% of people? its honestly pride-crushing.... after I made it around 140...I used to body shame others because of the environment i grew up around. such as "ew your fat who would like you type of way". I'm not a "life is meaningless lock yourself up" kind of girl lol but more of a trying to face reality, if you have social media its just all brain rot...and hawk tauh. there's so many inappropriate jokes nowadays and teens just...getting preg and twerking for views. all people think about now is looks and whos but is bigger.......maybe one day when the world becomes more positive I'm sure anyone could wear a bikini with no judgment.

Wear what makes you feel good!
I rock a bikini pretty much all the time because they are comfy and I look HOT!!! I’m on my boat or a beach all summer.
My favorites are all basically a bunch of triangles with strings.
I’m 5’4 and 170lbs. I have cellulite, a tummy pooch and a fupa.1
