Guilt trip

I just had a tiny piece of cake with frosting (under 2 oz) that my neighbor brought over for babysitting her kid. I decided to have a piece because I was feeling bored about dieting today and I thought a very tiny reward wouldn't hurt too much. I was so frustrated to see that that stupid piece of cake had more calories than my entire breakfast!! I feel very guilty for being weak and compromising a nice dinner for a silly piece of sugar.
On the other hand, it feels good to be disgusted by one piece of cake as opposed to craving more. I guess the lifestyle change is actually happening and that's a good thing. It makes the guilt trip feel less heavy when I look at it from that point of view. Tonight will be better and tomorrow even more so!! Go, go, go!!!

Aw don't beat yourself up! What's the point of "cheating" if you don't enjoy it?? One piece of cake will not take you back to square one...just keep pushing forward!

You're right but for those calories I'd rather "cheat" with an extra glass of wine... or two! Thanks for the support!!
