Hello, I would like to know if I can manually add potassium to my log like I can quick-add calories? So many listed foods do not have potassium values listed and I'm having trouble finding choices to log that do. thank you.

No, you can't do anything like a quick add for potassium. You can create your own food entries that have correct potassium amounts. (They'll be saved in the Foods tab in the phone/tablet app, or "My Foods" in web MFP). You could even create a personal food that has just potassium. I think you can add a zero calorie food; if so, you could create a zero calorie food with 1mg of potassium and a serving size of 1 mg, and log as many servings of it as you need to add, i.e., 125 servings if you ate something with 125mg of potassium.

I'm not sure if this is what it is you are looking for. Can you track it on MFP free version? Yes, you can. Here's how (Using the computer) open the food tracker tab, on the darker blue line you'll see "Setting" Click on that please. On the left hand side (Nutrients Tracked) you'll see where there is a drop down menu you can change those to the nutrients you wish one option is potassium. I've noticed though many when they put a product into the tracker they do not put all of the information. If you do not see the potassium listed when you enter an item you can manually enter it yourself into the tracker. Once you have it in, that should be fine. I am usually low on potassium (dieturtic)

See if you can find a potassium vitamin pill someone has added and put in the appropriate amount you want to add.
