Physical Health Linked to Nature

Options
This is difficult for me to articulate but I have noticed since I started losing weight and changing my eating habits over the past year I have actually found myself feeling closer to nature.

Perhaps it has something to do with eating less processed food and therefore taking in less chemicals but I literally just feel as I drop the pounds and become a healthier human being I am forming a tighter bond with my surroundings.

This is not a religious topic. I'm just merely pointing out that as a citizen of this planet I feel more whole with the Earth as I consume less junk and carry less weight (physical and emotional) around.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't eaten McDonald's in over a month, and I found this awesome snake.

    How cool is that!?!?

See there you go... eat less Big Macs... get more awesome snakes.

That's probably what I should have titled the topic in the first place.

If we all gave up Mc Donalds forever..would we rediscover the dodo bird and other extinct species?!?1

    LOL JK

No...I know what you mean though. Eat cleaner, breath easier, weigth less...appreciate mother nature...it's all tied I think.
