High iron low calorie

Hi, I always thought I was eating lots of iron rich foods, but since using the app I have realised I am not. Can anyone recommend iron rich foods that are still low calorie?
I have been eating mushrooms, almonds and spinach but it registers very little iron in the app.

I wouldn’t rely on MFP to be an accurate source of micronutrient information unless you’ve confirmed that each and every entry you use has that info entered, and entered correctly. MFP has a crowdsourced database, so entries can be old and outdated, the label might not have had all the information, or whoever originally entered the food just didn’t care about micros.2

Exactly what @COGypsy says.
Many, many (even the vast majority) of entries in MFP are entered by users from labels, and labels don't have iron amounts, so it's just left blank.
Unless you're double checking every single entry you use to confirm that the iron numbers in MFP are actually correct, you will absolutely be tracking a lot less iron than you're consuming.2 -
Are you needing to boost your iron levels for a specific reason, or are you just trying to be more thorough with your nutrition?
If you’re not a vegan or vegetarian you might want to consider adding liver to your diet. There are many good recipes.0 -
I just found that my bran flakes are pretty high in iron.2
