Just retired and taking time for me

I am 69 and decided it was time to retire. I joined a gym end of August and downloaded myfitnesspal app. I had used other carb tracking apps in the past as I was on Keto, but now that I am eating normally if you wish, I very much like this one. I have lost 9 lbs and am gaining muscle. My goal is to get back in shape so I can enjoy the rest of my life. I am hoping to connect with others who are like minded.

    Retired. Try to eat healthy. Where I live, the gym is the senior hangout.

    Hello, and welcome!

    I'm 68, retired long term, now in weight maintenance after loss 8 years ago. This time of year, I'm still mostly hanging out at my rowing club on the river, though I do drop in at the nearby Y after rowing sometimes to enjoy the sauna and shower after. :)
