hi MFP community.
this app is a game changer... this post is about a micro win...
I am 6 days in and just so dialed in. With the aid of this app it makes it easier to track my food intake and log my walks.. I started my journey at 277 lbs. (I am 5'9 - male, 50 years of age.) I am also using chat-gpt for guidance and doing research. I highly recommend for your journey. These are all tools available mostly for free to make the fitness journey so much more easier. I am going all in for the next 10-11 months aiming to lose another 98 lbs. Losing fat is the probably the hardest thing a human will ever do and keeping it off. I have been struggling with fat for over 20 years. But last week I got a wake up call. I saw the scale and it scared me straight. I thank everyone on here for being so supportive and friendly. You learn alot of about yourself in very little time especially when on a fitness journey. It took 20-30 years of poor decisions to get me to my wake up call. It just six days I have learnt so much about healthy eating and how important it is to move on the daily for brain and physical health. In just six days my mindset is recalibrating and steering me in the right direction. It is so much fun logging my food intake and doing my nightly walks, i actually love doing them and especially logging them in my calendar. It is so important to stack all the wins, even the small wins as they lead to big wins. I will be posting monthly updates and i will start posting progress photos. I look forward to reading other peoples stories on here and sharing mine. I wish you all the best on your journey and thank you once again for all the love and support. This is a great community. Just an FYI , I was consuming about 100 lbs of bad sugar a year... (so disgusting). See you at 170 lbs. It's always about the Journey.

Thank you for that Martin. You lit my fire again. I was you then fizzled, but I'm back. I have 15 lbs to my goal weight and it's on and popping. Hitting the gym tonight no matter what time it is when I'm done working. Can't wait to see your progress. 50 is just a number2
