Struggling with Breakfast Ideas
I'm back and struggling for ideas for meals. The main issue I have is breakfast - I can't think of any breakfast ideas which is not eggs or porridge. I get so fed up with them that I don't eat breakfast.
I also go to the gym in the morning, so trying to find breakfast ideas that help give me some energy in the morning.
I would love to find a few creative ideas which could add some extra items such as Chia or Macha etc.
I can eat anything except nuts, are there any recommendations on breakfast ideas.x

Before rowing in the AM, I go with peanut butter on Ezekiel pita plus kefir. That might not work for you, but I mention it because I have friends who are allergic to tree nuts but not peanuts. Sunflower seed butter or another seed butter might be an option.
When not rowing, yogurt bowl (lightly thawed frozen mixed berries, peanut butter powder, walnuts, hemp hearts, ground flax seed, cinnamon, plain nonfat Greek yogurt). Obviously, you'd skip the walnuts.
Any food is breakfast food, so it's not like you need to stick with traditional options. I've breakfasted on leftovers, sandwiches, beans, salads, soups, and more.2 -
My breakfast for weekdays (prepped on Sundays) is vanilla yoghurt, stewed apple or tinned peaches and rolled oats. Add the oats to the wet ingredients once I'm at work and eat around 9.30am so I don't need a mid morning snack4

Easy and delicious. Mix: 1/2 cup Kodiak Pancake Mix with 1/2 bottle Vanilla Fairlife drink or protein drink of your choice. Pour it in a 9 in frying pan sprinkle blueberries or chocolate chips. Flip and fry another minute or so until done. Top with 0 cal pancake syrup. 270 Cal 28 g Protein.4

Baked or roasted sweet potato topped with fresh apple chunks and pecans. I like it as is but if you want a little extra yum sprinkle the potato with brown sugar and/or drizzle with real maple syrup. Very filling and perfect for the season.5

Chia pudding.
Chia seeds, yoghurt and fruit. Add any flavouring you want. Great for meal prepping as you can make them the night before. You need to give the chia time to absorb the liquid and make it pudding-y.
I use cinnamon, cardamom, speculaas, vanilla, chai, matcha, passionfruit pulp, mango puree, coconut yoghurt, stewed apple etc to vary the flavours. ( Not all together-different flavours for each day depending on what's in the pantry). I also have a topping of toasted oats, coconut, sunflower and pumpkin seeds that I sprinkle on top for crunch and texture.
You can add oats, fine bulghur, linseed, and I also add cooked black rice if i have leftovers.2 -
I recently purchased a microwave egg bites maker. Takes two minutes to whip up the egg mix, and two minutes in the microwave. And they can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge for as long as a week.
Add a slice of toast, and maybe some guacamole? Delicious!
This is the one I have and it’s really easy to use. One egg makes two egg bites.
Ooop
I just noticed you asked for not eggs.
Sorry.
This is a really neat tool though. Maybe others will like it.

I like Greek yogurt with a lower carb granola. Also cottage cheese with savory spices, like cumin, everything bagel, cajun seasoning, latin blends--my favorite is cottage cheese w/ salt-free cajun seasoning and boiled shrimp. You could also do chicken/turkey sausage or ham with roasted veggies, tomato slices/white beans or garbanzos/mozzarella or feta. You could top toast or bagel thins with ricotta or light cream cheese and any number of the savory toppings above, or fruit.0

I gave up the idea of 'breakfast food' ages ago. My go to recently has been soup - nourishing, filling, easy to heat, can be eaten on the go. I also will have leftovers. There's no rule book that says 'breakfast' has to be any certain types of food!2

Quick oats with a little sugar and cinnamon is good. Peanut butter and banana sandwich on toasted bread. Greek yogurt mixed with any kind of berry and granola. All of these are yummy.0

Anything you eat for dinner can be for breakfast.
Have a sandwich. Have leftovers, go crazy.0 -
no reason to eat "breakfast" for breakfast. it is a fairly recent concept in our current form. eat what you want.0

I rarely eat breakfast for breakfast. I work nights so .... Some times though eggs are just too easy to whip up.
This OP is a bit old but I often grab a protein drink for my first meal when i'm crunched for time, add in a piece of fruit and something with caffein and i'm GTG.0 -

Why don't I have sweet potatoes for breakfast? Thank you for the great idea. Yummy - maple with cinnamon is my favorite.1 -

I usually eat it without toppings but I love the toppings suggestion. It is really easy to make in the microwave. Just remember to prick your sweet potato all over with a knife or fork before microwaving
