I was away on holiday for 3 weeks in September, so the average for that month is based on 3 days at about 48 kg and 3 days at 50 kg after getting home. The 50 kg obviously included retained fluids etc after the flight home and since then I’ve dropped back to about 49kg. Which means I only gained about 1 kg over the holiday – success! I was very active on holiday – cycling and swimming – and I did try to remember some basic guidelines and restrict desserts, cakes etc. So I’m happy with where I am now and I enjoyed the holiday in the sun.

Still running: today is my ‘race day’, so time to pick a new goal!
It’s been 11 months since I woke up and decided enough was enough (10 Nov, at 164.6lb), so to maintain at lower than my original goal is a dream come true, quite frankly. Loving every minute of life.
Happy Scale has reluctantly provided a trend this week (and for last week), but refuses any projections with a cheerful “Check back soon!” message: I have put a couple of screenshots of Happy Scale and Apple Health in the spoiler below for anyone interested in seeing the fluctuations over the 11 months and averages over the last 6 months.

Ran my 5k last Saturday at 33:57 - a new PB.
I am less interested in what the scale says these days - I am having a blast with the running, loving disco dancing with my grandchildren, and having plenty of energy. The clothes I love fit perfectly, although I do have a growing pile of things that fit but just don’t suit me - I realise now they’re just the wrong shape or style (or colour), so I’m going to have a good clear out and thin down the rails and shelves.

Success of the week: I am back because I am back in my maintenance range! I had a significant departure since mid-spring, so I didn't keep posting as I was no longer in my maintenance range. I was still at a healthy weight, just not where I wanted to be. I have seen this pattern in the last few years, and it still is odd. I seem to gain in summer. WTF? I have had several good weeks lately. This week I did an upstream paddle in my canoe - over five miles and halfway upstream to the next town. I did a little hiking. I did yard work. I managed my calories, and I finally am back at least in my ABSOLUTE maintenance range this week. How long will it be before I get back to my ideal range? Stay tuned to find out. Maybe I will, and maybe I won't. Maybe, once again, I'll revise that goal. For now I'm still shooting for it.
Struggle of the week: The backlog of cleaning chores in my home is starting to get to me. I am so active all summer, I kind of let thing go indoors. It's about time that I spend more hours inside, so I need to make this my "part time job" again.
I can't say it won't happen again. It seems like that can just be one of the ongoing challenges. Be vigilant or realize that the results may be... exactly what you expect. Let's see if I can keep up again. I mean down....

Ate out on Thursday evening at the Chinese buffet restaurant, I thought I was being sensible but my weight spiked up to 49.1 kg (from 48.5 on Thursday morning) and it’s not going down quickly.
But, I’m in my weight range so all is well.

Nicely done everyone.
I don't have all the details that some of you posted but I am at the same weight now than I was last year on this date give or take a few pounds. I'll just keep on keeping on and hope for the best.

One thing I started to do since September is eat whole foods the majority of the time and zero alcohol. I find it super easy to maintain my weight now and am rarely hungry anymore. I can't believe how easy it is to maintain as long as I stay disciplined and consistent no matter what food and drink situation, I find myself in.

Success/Struggle: I haven't tracking my food or here since last July. I have meal plans and tried to stay on them. In the summer, I do gardening (mostly weeding) so move more and don't have to be so careful. I'm back for two reasons. 1) Summer is over and it is feeling cold outside. I don't really want to get out in the yard. 2) I attended a webinar on eating well and I want to get better track of what I eat and try to improve. So here I am.

Successes/struggles of the week: Another not-great week with several high calorie, high sodium meals. Usually, I limit these meals to two days on the weekend, but lately I've been indulging on all of the weekend days and in the middle of the week too, which keeps my weight up higher since it usually takes several days in a row for me to drop water weight. I'm doing well with steps and exercise, but it's difficult to get back on track with eating healthier these past few weeks.3 -

Success of the week: I am almost back to my ideal maintenance range, and I am in the top third of my absolute maintenance range, but no longer at the very top or worse well above it. I was for a while. Yuck. My scale weight has been back in the ideal range several days this week, and I'm just waiting for the average to catch up.
I got my gravel bike out this week for the first time since Spring. I've been too busy having other fun and working at a couple jobs and at volunteer activities. I'm off to do more volunteering today. I got a nice hike in too.
Struggle of the week: I'm anxious for election day to find out if I will be serving in public office or not. I'm also trying to have a good attitude about the coming darkness and cold rain that we'll have the next several months.

Success/struggles:
You can tell from the trend weight that my weight has just been drifting down very slowly since returning from holiday 4 weeks ago. The scale registered a sudden drop by 0.6 kg this morning compared to yesterday. Not sure why, but I’ll wait and see what happens over the next few days.
i don’t need to be less than 49kg and my preferred range as stated above is 48 – 51 kg but I do have a short break away in mid-November and then a 2 week all inclusive in the Canaries later, before Christmas, so I’m happy to be at this low weight for a couple of weeks.

Successes/struggles of the week: While my weight is still refusing to budge downwards, I've made progress in my workouts and have again increased my weight that I'm lifting for deadlifts, so there's that. My side job on the weekends has ended for the rest of the year, and that was a source of high calorie food, so hopefully not being around all the temptation and having more time to go on hikes on the weekends now will help.2 -

Successes of the week:
I think it was this time last year that I realised that the dress I was planning to wear to a friend’s wedding was great, but the tortuous beige underwear needed to iron out the rolls of pudge wasn’t… so it’s nearly the 1 year anniversary of restarting MFP. This week, my husband said he thought I am now in the best shape I have ever been (he’s known me about 38 years - thick and thin!). I have not suffered as badly from loose skin (I had quite a pouch on my stomach area on previous weight loss attempts) which I attribute to a combination of slow and steady loss, and taking up running.
Struggles of the week:
Too many salty, high carb meals over the last 10 days… and only last week I was thinking it was all soooo easy, eh? The scale is showing an upward trend so it’s time to rein it in and nip that in the bud early! I have lots of car travel to do at the end of this week, so expecting a big number to appear on the scale… but I know what to do, so I won’t panic - I will trust the process.1 -

Success of the week: I had a fantastic day in the forest this week and found lots of chanterelles. I want to go back and look for a cauliflower mushroom that I know is there but that I couldn't find.
Struggle of the week: A little hiccup in my getting back down into my ideal maintenance range. I'm still in the absolute range, and October was pretty successful. Back after it!0
