I am new to Fitness Pal. I am 350lbs my first goal is to just get under that dang 300! I struggle with lunch ideas to take to work so I resort to eating fast food alot and I need to do better with that. I want to get healthier, lose weight, to be happy in my own skin and to be around to watch my kids grow up and start families of their own. I want to be able to take a small hike again in the mountains. I want to feel good about myself

What a great start. My hope is that you will recognize the "goodness" in you every day. I have found that small steps lead to bigger goals so my focus is on what I can do today, not what I should have done. For me this is simple things like packing a healthy lunch each work day for one month and taking a 5-minute walk during lunch time. Adding a glass of water before meals is also helpful to me. You are worth more than that number on the scale. Your self care is important for you and for everyone you love. Pat yourself on the back.2

Hi hi, how's it going?
There are fallback quick food on the go... takes a bit to identify, but i like sub sandwiches, chicken (remove skin) salads, pop into grocery for fruit cheesesticks or single serve yogurts....
mostly try not to fret a single meal and make nourishing choices when you have a meal or snack, day after day.... you'll see progress. Under 300 would be way cool0 -
Great attitude!
1. Look up fast food menus with calories near work. Find lowest calorie, healthiest combo THAT WILL SATISFY YOU. When you forget to bring lunch again, choose one.
2. Fast and easy lunches to take to work THAT WILL SATISFY YOU. Sub roll and lunch meat? Salad bags? Meal prep on weekends?
3. If you want to be healthy so you can be around for your kids, how about helping your kids learn healthy habits so it will be easier for them to be around and healthy for a while. Start with healthy breakfast or snacks, then the other.
4. Dinner is a bigger step, but break it down. One easy new recipe a week? Sheet pan dinners are so easy, and can be low calorie.
5. add or change steps to suit you.
6. Make the process enjoyable.
Best of luck!0
