I’ve been off and on MFP for a several years and know I need to get serious about my health. And weight.
I’m looking for others who want to receive and share motivation!

I am in same boat. Back again after more weight gain. I need to lose 50 lbs now. Just keep digging myself further into a hole. Now holidays coming up. You are not alone1

Me too! I’m back again too! But you know what? At least we’re in the fight. It doesn’t matter how often we have to get up, just as long as we do it!4

Hi! I’m Becky and this is my first time using MFP to help in this journey and my first time opening the Community button. I am finishing up week 4 and have lost 13 of the 90 pounds that I hope to lose and never find ever again. My dr turned me on to this app and I must say that MFP is the main reason I have started losing weight this time and am making some better choices just by having a place to track and be accountable for what I put in my mouth and how much I move each day. This isn’t my first rodeo losing weight though! I’ve lost over 100 lbs four times in the last 25 years. But like most I gained it all back each time plus some. I’m 57 and this is the first time I am doing it for health reasons. It is always nice when you find that you’re not going through this journey alone! I am looking forward to more motivation to hopefully ensure I don’t slide backwards ever again! Looking forward to being a part of this community!🙋🏼♀️1

I am also starting over again. I am tired of being worn down and eating garbage. It was hard to update my weight and see how much lower it was the last time I logged in.0

Hi, I am right there with you. I will be 50 in Feb. And a family cruise in June. I need all the support and encouragement. I would provide the same in return.0

I'm in the same boat. I've done just about every diet. I have arthritis in my knees and feet. Recently we went to Australia for a holiday and walking nearly killed me. I need to lose at least 30 kilos, 40 would be even better but I just can't see it and I'm quite depressed. I can't walk for fitness (yet) but I do go for 15 min walks with my colleague at work. My husband doesn't really get it. With Christmas coming up i am super stressed. Hopefully I can vent here now and again and get support while giving it as well. We just have to take each day as it comes.
